Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. She then went back to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd won the fight in the first round and was awarded the performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had hard in a tense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision against her.
